WHOEVER KNOWS ABOUT NUTBUSTER AND IS WAITING FOR THE V2 UPDATE OF IT IS NOW UNFORTUNATELY CANCELLED... sorry

Now i know what you might be asking (if any of you still remember this game ofc), why the sudden cancellation?! Well, ever since the development of v2 of nutbuster has began, the code was all messy and the game itself is SUPER hard to work with cuz ofc the amount of messy code and the amount of stuff there is in this game i have to add. Like holy shit the amount of code that just breaks with each change just makes my mind go bogos, it is that difficult.

The amount of work in this game that has been put down the drain due to my rookie ass mistake is so tragic lol, and it isn't even funny... lol. This might be my massive L project i have ever made because of that soooo yeah...

But that doesn't mean you guys won't get to play what i have been cooking for entire time. Nutbuster will be released here on newgrounds soon on 5/1/2024 along with it's project file (it's finally becoming open source! i think... yeah you might need godot to use this game)

Now this is tragic for me, but i learnt alotta stuff while i was doing everything for this game. I feel like i can take over the world with my new found knowledge lel. but yeah, nutbuster is cancelled unfortunately and a remake is sadly going to have to wait for maybe a while so yeah... don't expect the cancelled build to be perfect cuz there might be bugs and unfinished stuff here and there

OH MY GOD I HAVEN'T POSTED IN A WHILE, I THINK I MIGHT'VE FELL OFF

as the months go by i am slowly starting to lose hope with my main project which is nutbuster, so in the meantime, to nut burn myself out. I am making a side game which is pretty much a remake for a game that will NEVER reach the height that nutbuster has so uhhhhhh yea. Hope you guys have fun with it just a lil bit though

not much has been made progress these past months due to me being a lazy son of a bi- but i have made a new level for gaa and it looks stunning! here take a peak

SIDE PROJECT

THIS IS THE SIDE PROJECT IM WORKING ON CALLED "VILLAINY MAYHEM-Y"

(this is the older recordings for the game btw, i added a lot more stuff in it during development of it) this is a remake of a jam game i made called "RE-HEART" which was received terribly sooooo i decided to make it have an insane comeback by adding CRAZY amount of stuff into it (so i can finally not fall off with my skills as a game developer).

FINAL UPDATE

so i just want you guys to know that when nutbuster v2 is out, the game will stop there and only there (unless it got a crazy fandom supporting it or a succesfull kickstarter) so if any of you are wanting for nutbuster v3 - 4 - 5 then i don't think it'll happen anytime soon because i am a ONE MAN ARMY and this project is a BIG DAMN GAME sooooo yeah, once this game's update is out it'll be done for now. I just have a very weak mindset to complete a huge game like that because i planned aLOT of stuff for nutbuster so ye. hope you guys can understand if any of you are even reading this ofc... HOW LONG WILL NUTBUSTER V2 COME OUT

as i said it before, game development takes time and will likely take a long ass time (the game is not even halfway developed yet). I STILL am a 1 person army going up against a project that'll probably take even a team of talented indie game devs sanity away, so for now a nutbuster v2 release date is uncertain for how long this type of stuff actually takes. BUTT i will post screenshots of the game and post it here and on my twitter (hopefully tom fulp senpai notices hehe!) and i will record some things from the game that im proud of making with most of you not even giving a damn on what that thing actually is so yeah!

✨ WELCOME TO DA MONTHLY NUTBUSTA DEVLOG POST YIPEEEEEE ✨

so what shenanigans have i been up to? Well ya see... I've been finishing and polishing up some really big chunks of the game while also adding something new onto the table like being able to jump and what not. Release date haven't been decided yet but i do plan on releasing 1.5V of the game at some time but for now... SCREENSHOT TIME BABY

This joke game gonna bang harder than most of my serious games lol

Watching alot of upcoming beat em up games getting developed and they are all pretty good, amazing even. But the one thing that bothers me is that is nutbuster even worth finishing? like there are so many games of this specific genre getting developed with alot of them being high quality compared to this one person's level of talent. I just don't know if i can actually finish it or really bring anything new to the table instead of making it just another beat em up game with a fun story, i don't know man... Is this game even worth finishing?

Could just be me having a period of self doubt but uhh...

The game is gonna get significantly better, larger and more funner (hopefully) than the cardboard cutout version that it has rn, a lot more enemy variations, combos (yay combos!), playable characters, ui improvements, charming story, lore (LORELORLELRLR), a very 'very' interesting villain, side quests (that are not just fetch quests i swear), banger tracks, much more funner and challening bosses, animated cutscenes (which im sorry if it looks so laggy lol) and so much more!

And after saying all of this, I feel confident enough to say im going to die by the end of this lmao since im the only person developing this game to it's full potential and it's only V2! The game is gonna be so much larger in the full version so yea!

Although since im the only one doing all of this, progress will go very slow cuz i get tired pretty quickly and alot of the times i don't really work on the game since im busy with other life related stuff so ye, hope you all will be here once the V2 finally comes out cuz it's gonna bang harder than "that time i got reincarnated as a rock but got railed by another rock so i got i reborn again as another rock but also got railed again by another rock and so i did the same thing again!". Lol

About nutbuster: The game progress is goin pretty smoothly, a few bumps and there but overall this week was pretty productive and purpose fulfilling, no sneak peaks anymore tho sadly cuz rn i wanna surprise all of you for what im cookin and all that stuff. It will bang harder than what it currently has rn so stay tuned if ya wanna see V2 of nutbuster!
